At Lalor Park Early Learning Centre, we have a vision for early education that puts the children we care for at the centre of everything we do.  That is why we invest heavily in a program that cares for the social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of our children.

If you have studied or are currently studying to become an Early Childhood Teacher because you have a similar vision, then we want you to apply for this vacant position with a starting date of 28th May 2018.

Our Early Learning Centre located in Lalor Park in Sydney’s West, with vibrant and inviting indoor and outdoor facilities.  Our centre caters for 30  children from the ages of 2-6 years.

You will have:

An Early Childhood Degree, or be working towards an Early Childhood Degree, or equivalent approved teaching qualifications (completed study by end 2019);
A strong desire to provide the highest quality of early education and care for children;
A minimum of two years’ experience in Early Education;
The ability to form and maintain excellent relationships with our families;
The desire to work hard to maintain the outstanding reputation of Lalor Park Early Learning Centre;
A current Working With Children Check and First Aid Certificate;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Experience in programming and implementing curriculum;
A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF with proven results;
The right to live and work in Australia.
Your responsibilities include:

Working with an amazing team and reporting to a highly experienced and competent Centre Manager, you will be responsible for planning and implementing our educational program with the input of your team members;
Assessing the needs of each child, monitoring their progress and ensuring school readiness;
Maintaining excellent and regular communication with parents;
Maintaining ongoing records of our children’s development;
Assisting with daily room tasks – e.g. activity preparation, hygiene standards and meal times;
Maintaining the high quality of services in consideration of the NQS;
Ensuring compliance with relevant Government Regulations.
