Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprenticeship

In partnership with our client, we are looking for a mechanically-minded individual who has the passion to complete a Certificate III in Automotive (Mechanical – Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment, Plant/Earth Moving/Agriculture) to be completed over 4 years. This is a specialised position, where you will gain a wide skillset encompassing areas of Mechanical, Electronic, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Auto-Electrical. Implementing this knowledge, you will assist tradesmen in repairing and diagnosing all aspects of mobile cranes, hydraulics and mechanics. Our client also sets their apprentices up for success with their education, and provide rare opportunities for each individual to travel to their factory training facility in Germany. Who we’re looking for
The successful candidate will have a passion for mechanics, and love nutting out problems with their hands. You will have strong communication skills and thrive working independently or as part of a team. This is a 4 year apprenticeship so we will value your drive and commitment from commencement to completion. In addition to these skills you will:
- Have your own drivers licence and reliable car.
- A School Certificate will be an advantage
- Be well-presented and pride yourself on being on time, every time
- Show initiative in producing high quality work and demonstrate keen attention to detail
