Onsite IT Support Technician & Service Desk, Western Sydney

Managed IT Service Provider based in Western Sydney is looking for a highly proficient and presentable Onsite Support Engineer / IT Service Desk, with at least 5 years’ experience in an IT Customer Support capacity to join our well established and high performing team.

The role involves implementing, maintaining and supporting a wide and diverse range of customer infrastructures. You must have a genuine interest in computer technology and troubleshooting; you must also be flexible as this will involve after-hours work


·         Ensure excellence in Customer Satisfaction with the best outcome for our key customers

·         Provide a quick onsite response to client IT issues and prompt resolution of incidents

·         Perform on-site audits, maintenance and troubleshoot (desktop, laptop, LAN, printer and mobile problems).  Patches and backups where required

·         Setup new equipment for customer sites

·         Ensure all services meet agreed client service level requirements

·         Provide recommendations to customers and sales staff

·         Provide client support in the following areas;

Access issues
Desktop issues
Application support
Operating system support
Peripheral support

·         Provide infrastructure support in the following areas;

Server support
Network support
Windows server
Active Directory
Office 365
Backup management
Terminal services
Other relevant technologies as required

·         Maintain security and integrity of customer infrastructure

·         Help in developing and maintaining processes


·         A minimum of five years IT Experience.

·         Good knowledge of MS Server Operating Systems, AD, DNS, Exchange, Office 365

·         Excellent knowledge of MS Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7, 8 & 10)

·         Knowledge in Networking, Wireless, WAN, switches and routers, VPN’s

·         Enterprise Anti-Virus solutions

·         Australian Driver’s License

·         Excellent Customer Service

·         A positive, motivated “can do” attitude
