Cabinet Maker – Estimator / Purchasing Officer

Craftmark is a privately owned business manufacturing Kitchens, Wardrobes, Vanities, and furniture, along with high end detailed joinery projects directly to the wholesale market. Due to the growth of the business sustained, we are looking for Estimator / Purchasing Offcer with extensive experience in the industry to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has the want to succeed. Craftmark wants to give every opportunity to promote within and find leaders to keep driving our success and be part of this exciting journey.

This role for the right candidate would potentially progress into further management positions.

Qualifications and Skills.

Your background:
Competency in the Cabinetmaking industry – Trade qualified in cabinet making/ joinery/ shop fitting an advantage.
High level of Experience with the manufacture of Joinery components.
Previous Skill set in detailed joinery and competent in detailed hardware installation.
Full working rights within Australia.
Current NSW Driver’s License.

Your Skills:
Team player but also the ability to work autonomously when required.
Work health and safety focused.
Exceptional eye for detail and understanding of joinery construction.
Contributor to productivity.
Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
Ability to read and interpret Architectural Plans, BOQ’s and FF&E’s
Strong relationship Builder.
Competent is using technology such as Excel, Jobman and drafting programs.

Duties:
Ensure tenders are within scope
Provide accurate quotes to new and existing clients
Employ sound industry knowledge to represent the best interests of the business and our client base.
Ensure Tender deadlines are met
Assist other teammates with pricing and material supply dates.
Ordering materials and placing Purchase order for required materials

Remuneration will be negotiated based on Skill level but Craftmark Pay well above award rates + Super.
