Hey there! We’re looking for a Yard Worker/Supervisor

ABS needs someone to help out in our equipment yard. Here’s what you’d do every day:

Check our boom and scissor lift machines when they go out and come back from our customers
Use the high-pressure cleaner to clean the machines so they look good as new
Make sure all the parts are working right
Fill out paperwork to show the machines are ready to rent again
Move equipment around the yard (don’t worry, we’ll show you how)
Help load and unload machines onto trucks
Keep the yard tidy and organised
You’ll work with our mechanics when machines need fixing, and talk to the guys in the office who handle rentals to know which machines are going out next.

It’d be great if you know a bit about machines, but don’t worry if you don’t – we can teach you!

You’ll need a driver’s license for this job. Being good with your hands and not mind getting a bit dirty is a plus!

A bit about us:

We’ve been renting out equipment in Sydney for 23 years. Our yard is in Wetherill Park. We are family-owned and operated and most of our staff have been with us for ages.

If you have a yellow card and a forklift license that is a plus, but not a requirement as training is provided.
