Junior Administration position full time

Sydney Solvents is a family owned business with over 20 years’ experience. We specialise in solvents and cleaning products across Australia. We are currently looking to grow and have a full-time admin worker to join our team. We do have full training provided, ideally hours would be Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30 to 2:00pm. For the right person we are happy to work in with what you need such as part time or job share.

This job would be most suited to someone who is a self-starter and wants the opportunity to work in a friendly office. Someone who is ready to start their day with a positive attitude.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities:
First point of contact for customers e.g. phone calls, walk-in sales, online, etc.

Monitoring and responding to emails in a timely manner

Answering incoming calls

Using and responding to online chats

Connecting with customers through social media e.g. Facebook and Instagram

Handling enquiries e.g. customer enquiries, quotes
All daily invoicing – receivables and payables
Preparing supplier invoices for accounts payable
Getting orders ready
Organising couriers
Product ordering from suppliers

Using Accounts system MYOB

Using eCommerce platform and monitoring sales channels e.g. Neto, eBay, Amazon, Catch.

Filing

General office duties as required

Skills and experience:
Strong computer skills is essential

Enjoy working with a range of customers

Ideal interest in online marketing

No experience required, but the right attitude is a must!
Ability to work independently
Team player, whose happy to help out and ability to show initiative
Sound written and verbal communication
Sound computer skills in MS office
Administration skills in MYOB is an advantage but not essential
