As Customer Service Attendant – Train, you will help build the foundations of a successful future for Australia’s transport infrastructure. You will be the smiling face ready to step in and lend a hand, manage incidents, or support train operation if need be.
Working in an exciting, innovative start-up environment, and reporting directly to the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for following incident management procedures and dealing with customer queries to create a positive customer experience from door-to-door.

This is a role that gives as good as it gets. This project is the first of its kind in Australia, and as such you will be trained extensively through mentoring and classroom activity as you take on the mantle of being our brand ambassador on the frontline.
Once training is complete, no two days are likely to be the same in this versatile customer service role – you won’t be stuck behind a desk, you’ll be on the move helping people day-in, day-out. You’ll be thinking and standing on your feet throughout your shift, working largely independently but with the knowledge that you have an outstanding support team behind you. Who are we looking for here at MTS?
You are obsessively customer-focused, with a KPI-driven customer service background demonstrating this capability. You are quick-thinking, calm and collected, enabling you to cope with high pressure in busy time periods without throwing the rule-book out the window.
Following proper processes and operational health and safety procedures is in your DNA, ensuring high quality and proper incident management from the quietest platform to the busiest. You are a true customer service professional. Having a First Aid certificate, incident management experience, or being multilingual are all advantageous skills, but not pre-requisites for success in this role.
Successful applicants for this operational readiness customer service role will initially be offered a maximum-term contract until February 2020 and will then be considered for potential permanent opportunities within MTS. Start dates will vary between July and September 2018.
