Carpet Court is Australia’s leading retailer of floorcoverings.
We have a casual position available at our warehouse / head office in St Marys, a convenient Western Sydney location with onsite parking.
The position is 9am to 4pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, however there is flexibility if these days do not work for the right candidate.
We require an experienced Accounts Payable person to manage the accounts payable side of our business. You will also need to process the day-to-day paperwork and data entry for our busy warehouse and central administration office, servicing our 4 stores. This is a busy role and requires strong communication and organisational skills.
Core duties include
Checking and entering stock invoices
raising credit claims and organising returns to suppliers
monthly statements and reconciliations
Data entry of customer invoices, orders, payments, stock
Entering installation bookings
Answering telephone, customer service enquiries
Banking and other office duties
Invoicing customers and debtors
Assisting both the residential and commercial team with warranty documents and job completion requirements
Processing weekly payments and monthly invoices
To be considered for this role you will have
* At least 5 years experience in a similar role
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* Have a passion for completing tasks accurately
* Ability to achieve deadlines and work under
pressure from time to time
* Demonstrate a sound knowledge of Word and Excel
* Experience in bookkeeping / MYOB
* Have a friendly, confident personality
* Immediate start if possible
