Looking for an engaging and exciting role?

Beyond the Boardroom are looking to find a motivated, professional, people person to join our growing National team. The successful applicant will be responsible for facilitating team building activities throughout Sydney, in the Blue Mountains and occasionally Melbourne and Brisbane. They will also be a support team member to the Operations Manager, performing administration type work remotely.

As a finalist for 4 years running in the fast movers program, Beyond the Boardroom recently expanded to offer National team building activities in all capital cities around Australia. Beyond the Boardroom also won “Best Business Tourism” company 2014 in the state tourism awards. Beyond the Boardroom have been operating team building activities and have developed a proven method that ensures a successful event each and every time.

Responsibilities and Duties

Beyond the Boardroom offer team building programs that help organisations to boost their team morale through adventure based activities. The Head Facilitator is responsible for:

Facilitating fun, world class team building activities
Event Preparation
Client relationship management
Other duties as requested by Operations Manager and Managing Director
The Operations Assistant is responsible for help with the below;

Liaising with clients before and after events
Picking and packing of bags for events
Managing of tasks using a CRM
Liaising with suppliers, vendors and charities that support our events
Other duties as requested by Operations Manager and Managing Director
Team building facilitators run a host of fun group programs including:

Amazing Races
Survivor
Trivia Nights
Mini Olympics
Charity Bike Build
and more
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and traits:

Background and/or education in Outdoor Recreation, PT or Training environment (desirable, not a must)
Previous experience facilitating team building activities
Operational experience – including computer skills
An outgoing and friendly personality
Professional presentation
Drivers License
Excellent communication skills
First Aid certificate
Ability to work in an autonomous environment
Experience in facilitating events, group activities or emcee (MC) duties
Ability to think on your feet
Proven problem solving skills
We are currently looking for someone 5 days a week, 5/6 hours per day to start with, and after atrial period look at moving to a full time position.
Some interstate travel will apply to help with various programs.

We have bases in Sydney, and the Blue Mountains. So would love to find someone in between both locations, would suit a Western Sydney Located person. If you are located towards the city however, please still apply.
